Every organization needs myths, legends and symbols - 08.23 is ours. It indicates the Tuesday morning meeting time when we all meet to discuss papers in progress, research ideas, or recent publications. The purpose is to develop relevant research that matter and to develop a passion for that tasks at hand. It has proven to be an important weekly event for us.

But the 08.23 is more than a Tuesday morning meeting – it is also a symbol of our shared goals and mutual support. It represents a multitude of activities, our culture of doing research, our research agenda and, most important, our focus on research excellence.
